Full Description

SS 69757 39276. A small quarry on the south side of Goat Combe is 7 metres north to south, 9.6 metres east to west and 2 metres deep. The quarry cuts the ridge and furrow in the relict field system (MDE11657) and is part of a larger area of stone extraction on Wallover Down, probably dating to the 19th Century. [1]
