Full Description

Water meadow system of post-medieval date to either side of the small brook, running southward from Lower Eastcott Farm, centred at SS 9940 3370. This site forms part of an extensive system of field gutters which is described in recordsMMO680, MMO760, MMO762 and MSO8881. [1-3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4] The gutters remain visible as extant earthworks in LiDAR imagery. [5] This record was enhanced by Cornwall HER for the Forestry Commission's Project K. [6]
