MEM25268 - 3 and 5, Lady Street, Dulverton (Building)

Lady Street contains a number of buildings of interest typically in short terraces or semi-detached pairs of late-19th / early-20th century date… Some, such as No. 3 next to the churchyard, which has a large end stack, could potentially have earlier origins. [1] 3 and 5 Lady Street are shown on the 2022 MasterMap data. Number 3 appears to have been subdivided, with the northwestern part set slightly back from the road. [2] The 25 inch 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps show a row of houses arranged along the road frontage. The northwestern end appears to represent number 5, and the southwestern end number 3. The front elevation of the row is continuous. [3,4] The row is also shown on the Tithe Map for Dulverton. It is subdivided into six properties. [5] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [6]
