The farmhouse is shown on the 1840 Tithe Map but appears to have been demolished by the time the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map was drawn up.

Full Description

The Tithe Map for Exford shows the original farmhouse for Higher Wellshead situated within the farmyard, at SS 8283 3986. It is orientated northeast to southwest. [1] The 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps no longer depict the farmhouse and it appears to have been demolished, with other structures situated in its place. The present Wellshead Farmhouse is to the east. [2,3]
