The manse was built in 1877, prompted by George Williams, founder of the Y.M.C.A.. [1] The Manse to the Congregational Chapel is rendered under a slate roof. [2] The manse was built in 1887, thanks to the generosity of George Williams. [3] The building is mentioned in the 2019 Conservation Area Appraisal for Dulverton. [4]
