Archaeological monitoring was undertaken of the backfilling of drainage ditches on the outskirts of Great Wood on the Holnicote Estate. No archaeological features or deposits were visible and no discernable features were identified. This included 2 fragments of animal bone, 14 sherds of pottery, 3 shards of glass and 2 pantile fragments.
