MSO7506 - Post-medieval water meadow west of Well / Will (Monument)

A water meadow system to the south of Will was noted from aerial photographs. [1] The remains of a fragmented water meadow system presumed to be associated with the deserted post medieval farmstead of Will or Well (MSO7474). They appear as two parallel ditches running along the slope. The ditches were seen as earthworks and were mapped from aerial photographs. [2,3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4,5]
