MSO12360 - Prehistoric standing stone on Withypool Common (Monument)

A stone about 3 feet high stood alongside the headwater of the Portford Stream but was removed in about 1920 during road alterations according to a local farmer.  A stone was located at the above National Grid Reference and is recorded under MSO8749. It is not clear if this is related to the stone referred to by .
