Full Description
A relict field boundary west of Yearnor, Porlock, is depicted by the Tithe (1) and is a continuation of the curvilinear boundary to the north. It had already been removed by the time of the 1st and 2nd ed OS maps (2, 3), but remains visible as a relatively prominent earthwork bank in LiDAR (4), and is also visible as a slight cropmark in recent aerial photographs (2015, 2020). The boundary is in an area of anciently enclosed land and may have medieval or early post medieval origins. This record was created by Cornwall HER as part of the Forestry Commission Project K (5).
