Full Description
A relict field boundary south of Parsonage Farm, Porlock, is depicted by the Tithe (1), and 1st and 2nd ed OS maps (2, 3). The boundary appears to have been extant in 1946, and remains visible as a relatively prominent earthwork bank in aerial photos (2020) and LiDAR (4). The boundary is in an area of anciently enclosed but probably represents a later modification, being a perfectly straight boundary perpendicular to more sinous boundaries to the north and south. This record was created by Cornwall HER as part of the Forestry Commission Project K (5).
