Full Description

An irregular building is shown on the Cutcombe Tithe Map (plot 814) and listed under 'Warrs' in the Tithe Apportionment Book described as 'House, Bartons etc'. [1] It is not clear whether part of this is included in the building shown on the OS 1st Edition 25" Map [2] or whether it was rebuilt at some time during the later 19th century.[3] A similar footprint is shown on the OS 2nd Edition map [4] and also on the modern MasterMap with an extension to the South East.
