Full Description

The 2022 MasterMap data marks a large earthwork in Broadfield Wood at ST 0225 3567. It is labelled "Workings (dis)". [1] The earthwork is shown on the 25 inch 1st and 2nd Edition at a similar extent, and is labelled "Old Quarry". [2,3] The site is shown on the Tithe Map for Old Cleeve, and labelled 1232. This is described in the Apportionment as "Tile Quarry in Broad Pt. Wood". [4]
