Full Description

ST 027 343. A boundary cairn marks the boundary of Exmoor National Park, situated on a grassy bank on the side of the road on the B3224 / B3190 near Ralegh's Cross. The cairn is constructed of roughly mortared stone, with a triangular sign featuring the logo of the National Park Authority. [1] The cairn is not marked on the 2022 MasterMap data; however, its location is discernible at ST 0275 3430, adjacent to Beulah Chapel (MEM15269). [2] The cairn is not visible on aerial photographs dating to 2020 due to vegetation cover and a possible georectification error in this location. [3]
