Full Description

Buttercross Community Orchard is east of the Butter Cross. [1] The orchard was reintroduced by Dunster Parish Council and the Crown Estate in 2011. It contains 56 apple and 3 Dunster plum trees, with a picnic area. The community hold events such as Apple Day Wassailing and Somerset Day at the orchard and the committee also hold annual outings, picnic and a traditional barn dance. [2] The orchard and picnic area is depicted but not labelled on the 2022 MasterMap data. [3]
