Full Description

A large old quarry is depicted and labelled on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at ST 0196 3781. A much smaller quarry is located c.30 metres to the north at ST 0194 3785. [1] The quarries are shown but not labelled on the 25 inch 2nd Edition map. [2] The larger quarry is shown on the 2022 MasterMap data. [3]
