Full Description
SS 70337 40349. The remains of several hollow ways were noted to survive as earthworks during field survey in 2017. An example was 2.5 metres wide, 0.9 metres deep and 52 metres long. The features were obscured by gorse and reeds but can be seen on LiDAR data. The hollow ways ran northwest to southeast from the headwaters of the River Bray towards South Regis Common and were routes across the common up onto the summer grazing on the Royal Forest (MEM22088).
