Full Description

A quarry is depicted and labelled on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at SS 8795 3415. [1] The quarry is shown on the 2021 MasterMap data. It is labelled "Workings (dis)" and is marked with a pond at its base. [2] The quarry was visited in April 2021 and was noted to be an extensive earthwork with a pond. The entrance appears to have been from the eastern side. [3]
