A rectangular building is shown on the Exford Tithe Map at SS 8441 3922, abutting a small enclosure that contains a pond situated at c. SS 8441 3922. They are labelled 684, which the accompanying Apportionment describes as "Higher Mill: Linhay Pond and Courtlage (Barton)", owned and occupied by George and Samuel Moore.  The linhay is depicted but not labelled on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. The enclosure is also shown, but the pond is not.  The arrangement shown on the 1st Edition map is repeated on the 25 inch 2nd Edition map.  The building is not shown as extant on the 2020 MasterMap data. Only parts of the enclosure boundary may remain on the site.
