The 25 inch 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps depict and label and old quarry at SS 9892 4425. [1,2] The quarry is shown on 2018 MasterMap data in a similar shape and labelled as a disused quarry. [3] The quarry is mentioned in the 2018 Conservation Area Appraisal for Dunster as a potential source of stone for the settlement. [4]
