Full Description

SS 9063 3058. A stone water trough stands by the side of the road, abutting the bank behind it. The main trough is carved from one piece of stone (?granite), with two supporting legs below. The front bears the inscription: T / IN PIAM MEMORIAM MATRIS / E.S. / POSUIT FILIUS / H.D.S.S. / 1923. / FREELY YE HAVE RECEIVED, FREELY GIVE.
