Full Description

SS 84156 32488. A large, disused quarry lies on the east side of Old Barrow Down. The quarry pit is 16 metres north to south, 11.5 metres east to west and 3 metres deep with several mounds of spoil on the north and south sides. It is marked as "Old Quarry" on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [1,2]
