Full Description

An old quarry and limekiln are depicted and labelled on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at SS 8533 3789. [1] The site is shown as part of several land parcels on the Tithe Map for Exford, particularly land parcel 151 to the north. This parcel is named "Quarry Cleeve" in the accompanying Apportionment, owned by Silas Wood Blake Esquire and occupied by John Veysey. [2] The area is now depicted as wooded. [3]
