Full Description

A house is depicted to the east of a ford of the River Exe at SS 8521 3838. It appears to be labelled 1193 (together with a small garden to the north), which the accompanying Apportionment describes as "House and Garden" owned and occupied by William Moules Senior. [1] The property is also depicted on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map and is labelled "Providence Cottage". [2] The house is still extant, although apparently subject to alteration in plan form, and is now labelled "Ford Cottage". [3]
