MEM23967 - Possible Post-Medieval Mound on Burcombe (Monument)
Please read the caveat document.
Type and Period (1)
A substantial, stony mound, possibly originally circular in shape with disturbance on the western side given it an irregular ovoid morphology. It measures c.4m long by 3m wide by 0.75m high. The origin of the feature is unclear but it may be composed of spoil associated with 19th century mining activity in the area.
