Full Description

A cottage is shown on the Exford Tithe Map of 1840 at SS 8584 3888. It is within a land parcel also containing a garden and labelled 1212, which the accompanying Apportionment describes as "Gunns: Cottage and Garden", owned by Robert Williams and occupied by John Parish. [1] The building is shown as subdivided on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps and is labelled "Gunn's Cottages". It also appears to have been enlarged. [2,3] The house is extant on the 2018 MasterMap data and is labelled "Gunns Cottage", suggesting it is no longer subdivided. [4]
