Full Description
A roughly triangular plot of land is shown on the Tithe Map for Lynton and Lynmouth. It is centred at SS 7358 4762 and labelled 1309. The accompanying Apportionment describes the plot as "orchard", within the land ownership of Coombe Park and owned by the Reverend John James Scott. [1] The site is shown as mostly clear on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map and it is not clear what use the land was in at this point. [2]
