Full Description

The Winsford Tithe Map shows a ford at this location, but no bridge. [1] A footbridge is depicted on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map at c. SS 9059 3491. [2,3] The footbridge still appears to be extant. [4] Winsford was designated as a conservation area in 2023. The new appraisal was produced as part of the adoption of the conservation area. [5]
