Full Description

The Tithe Map for Martinhoe depicts a building orientated northwest to southeast at c. SS 6784 4845. The plot is labelled 102 and the accompanying Apportionment states the property is a cottage and garden, occupied by Thomas Lord and owned by Sir Robert Throckmorton, Baronet. [1] The building is shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map but had been demolished by the time the 2nd Edition map was surveyed. [2,3]
