Full Description

A 20th Century sluice was recorded on the 2nd and 3rd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. This was not seen on the 2014 MasterMap. [1-3] The sluice was not clearly visible during a walkover survey in September 2021; however, only a small amount of stonework was suggested to survive when viewed through vegetation. It was noted to be part of a wider system of sluices in this area. [4]
