Full Description

A post-medieval quarry was visible on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, annotated as 'old quarry' indicating it had fallen out of use prior to the survey. This was not visible on the later 2nd Edition map, or the 2014 MasterMap. [1-3] This quarry appears to have been confused with that recorded under MSO7763 during various field surveys. [3]
