Full Description

A slight mound was noted during a non-intrustive walkover survey of the proposed mire restoration area on Deer Park, undertaken by South West Archaeology as part of the Exmoor Mires Project. This was interpreted as possibly being a natural feature. [1] The Historic Environment Officer for the Exmoor Mires Project undertook a non-intrustive walkover survey of the proposed mire restoration area on Deer Park, which included this site. Noted was a slight mound measuring 1.6 metres by 1.4 metres, with a height of 0.4 metres. This was thought to possibly be a natural feature. [2]
