MEM22036 - Dovecote at Barlynch Priory (Monument)
Please read the caveat document.
Type and Period (1)
A circular, flat-topped, earthen mound, measuring 11 metres in diameter and 0.4 metres high, is located on the eastern side of the A396 road, to the southeast of Barlynch Priory. Its shape and position on the valley side, overlooking the priory, suggest that it may be a dovecote or pigeon house.
