Full Description

In 1958, a pumping station was set up at Marsh Bridge to extract water from the River Barle, to be pumped to a treatment plant at Northmoor, before being supplied to Dulverton. The local source of water was abandoned when Wimbleball Reservoir was opened in around 1979. [1]
