MEM21938 - Tramway above Northmoor Road, Dulverton (Monument)

Type and Period (1)
A 'Tramway' is marked on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map. (1) Manure and produce was carted up to, and from the strawberry beds and market garden on a truck on rails, which was hauled up and down the steep slope by a winch operated by two men. (2)
