Ornamental planting of lines of predominantly pine and occasional yew trees, alongside and probably contemporary with the 19th Century rides and paths through Yearnor, Culbone and Embelle Woods. This planting is absent in the area between Culbone Combe and Worthy Combe, where revetment walling appears to take its place. Lone yews and pines were not recorded. [1]
