Full Description

The former extension of Courtmead Lane from its present northern terminus westwards to Porlock Weir was plotted from a map of 1710-1720. The route is annotated 'Mead Lane and Lower Way to Key'. [1] This extension is not depicted on Day and Master's map of 1782, possibly indicating the route had passed out of use by this date. [2]
