Full Description

"Lawns Quarry" is depicted and labelled on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps and the six inch 1963 map. The quarry is shown to be much enlarged between the 1st and 2nd Edition maps, suggesting it was in active use during this period. [1-3]
