Full Description

Killington, or kinwelton. The Blackmore family, ancestors of R. D. Blackmore, were leaseholders of this property. [1] Killington, Kinwelton, or Kellaton, was Chencoltona in Domesday. It was held by Drogo of the Bishop of Coutances. Before the conquest it was held by Algar. Early descents given. [2]
