Full Description

A structure is marked on historic mapping on the Darlick Moors. [1,2] A partially walled platform surrounded by a revetted earthern bank. The sub-circular platform measures 3.5 metres by 11.5 metres with a return. The structure appears to have been open-fronted. The monument is believed to be of a post medieval date, with an agricultural function. [3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
