Full Description
(SS 75234435) Hut Circle (NR) [1] SS 7524 4435. Area 16 feet diameter edged round with stones. Clarke (1938) thought it natural. There is another just to the southeast. [2] There is no hut circle in the area of outcrop and marsh bordering a stream. [3] No trace of a hut circle was found in the vicinity of the National Grid Reference. [4] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [5] The feature is marked as a hut circle on 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [6] It is not shown on 2021 MasterMap data. [7]
