Full Description
SS 9526 3697 approx. Cutcombe No 11. A bowl barrow 5 paces diameter and 0.5 feet high found by Grinsell and Charles Browne, 30 March 1962 on recently swaled heath. Other small mounds in vicinity are of uncertain origin and this may be a clearance heap. [1] This small mound, like others in the area, is probably not a barrow. [2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
