An overshot wheel at Woolcott Farm. Associated machinery was built in 1891 to power a barn thresher, but appears to no longer be in situ.

Full Description

An overshot wheel was reported at Woolcott Farm measuring 16ft in diameter and 2.5ft wide with 56 wooden buckets. Underground culvert from small pond to wheel pit. The machinery was made in 1891 by C Phillips of Bridgetown and the system powered a barn thresher. The machinery is believed to be no longer in situ.
