Full Description

A quarry of post-medieval or later date is visible as earthworks onvertical aerial photographs to the north side of South Hill. It is marked as "old quarry" on the 1887 Edition six inch Ordnance Survey map and is also mentioned in MSO7158. [1-3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
