A pit is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1964 and is thought to be a post-medieval ironstone pit.

Full Description

Possible ironstone pit of post-medieval date, visible on vertical air photographs and marked on the 1980 Ordnance Survey 1:10,000 map. [1-3] The pit is not marked on the 1st or 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. [4,5] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [6]
