Full Description

A possible prehistoric hut platform lies on Bossington Hill at SS 9121 4798. It measures 4.5 metres in diameter and is defined on its southern edge by a stony scarp 0.8 metres high. A fragmentary lynchet runs for 20 metres to the west. The site was recorded as part of the RCHME Exmoor survey using differential GPS. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
