MSO8082 - Post-medieval water meadow south of Holnicote House (Monument)

Summary

A post-medieval field gutter system was suggested to be visible on aerial photographs; however, this may be a misidentification of the route of an old stream and a field system (MSO1618).

Full Description

A post-medieval water meadow system was allegedly noted on an aerial photograph. [1] It has been suggested that the features recorded by Francis have been misidentified and may actually reflect the field system and redundant stream recorded as MSO1618 (see record for further information). [2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
