Trackways seen as cropmarks was mapped from aerial photographs.Up to four trackways running roughly parallel to each other werevisible and are likely to have been in use in the Medievalperiod, if not earlier or later as they also mark the boundarybetween the parishes of Clatworthy, Old Cleeve and Nettlecombe.(1-2)
