Full Description

A limekiln was reported just outside the boundary fence of Orchard Quarry which is disused and overgrown. [1] Masonry access walls just discernible within bank. [2] The limekiln is shown on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map. [3,4] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [5]
