Full Description

?Area SS 91 44. A fragment of a polished stone axe from Luccombe, presented by Mr P. Ashford: accession 69.A.12 to Taunton Museum (the "69" being the year of accession). [1-3] Marginal site - exact location unknown. [4] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. N.B. The axehead was recorded as Neolithic in date on the NRHE database. This record has therefore accessioned the find with this date. [5]
