Full Description
Centred at SS 96370 28663 is a prehistoric barrow. It is between 8.7 and 9.4 metres in diameter and 0.4 metres high. It survives as a circular earthen, flat topped mound. It is covered in gorse, heather and molinia grass. Surveyed by GPS as part of the RCME Exmoor Survey. [1,2] A barrow discovered during fieldwork in 1998. [3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4,5]
